SOLOMON Islands National University (SINU) is delighted to announce the signing of a Public-Private Partnership Agreement with Revealpasifik media pro, Kutchies Lightings, and Straight Street Production for the much-anticipated SINU “Twinkle Town – Lights Festival” event.

This collaboration marks an exciting milestone in bringing the community together to celebrate the festive season with a spectacular display of Christmas lights and live performances.

Event Overview

• Dates: 23 December 2024 to 1 January 2025

• Time: 2 pm to 10:30 pm

• Location: SINU Village

• Admission: Free and open to the public

The SINU “Twinkle Town – Lights Festival” is a fun, family-friendly event designed to spread holiday cheer and bring the community together. Enjoy stunning light displays, live performances, and activities for all ages in a festive atmosphere

Primary Objectives of the Event:

• To spread holiday cheer and foster a sense of community.

• To provide free entertainment and festive activities for all ages.

• To support local artists and performers by showcasing their talents.

Speaking on behalf of the partnering organizations, Limahl Totogi of Reveal Pasifik, Kutchies Lightings, and Straight Street Production expressed gratitude to SINU for making this collaboration possible. “We wanted to give back to the community during this festive season and needed a venue to make it happen. We sincerely thank SINU for providing the space where families can come together and enjoy,” said Mr. Totogi. He further added that they look forward to more collaborations in the near future for such events.

Dr. William Parairato, Pro Vice-Chancellor Corporate and Acting Vice-Chancellor of SINU, also shared remarks at the signing ceremony. “On behalf of the University, we are very pleased to partner for such an event. It not only benefits the University but also allows our community to enjoy the Christmas season. “As Solomon Islanders, we have a social responsibility to work together to improve our livelihood, and this event truly reflects that spirit. I extend my gratitude to the organizing committee for their dedication in bringing this event to life,” Dr. Parairato stated.

This partnership highlights SINU’s dedication to engaging with the community and collaborating on initiatives that benefit the people of the Solomon Islands. “Twinkle Town –  Lights Festival” will be a joyful celebration bringing families and the community together during the holiday season.
