Curfew Lifted, Entry Restrictions From Poha and Alligator Into Honiara Lifted

WHILE orders requiring people to follow all COVID-19 protocols remains, curfew for the Honiara emergency zone has been lifted today.

This was announced by the Attorney General, John Muria Junior today.

AG Muria in his statement, also announced that the restrictions of entries into Honiara from the Poha boundary in the west and Alligator Creek boundary in the east of has also been lifted.

He said the Prime Minister, Manasseh Sogavare signed the orders to have these restrictions ceased recently.

The Curfew hours from 12 am to 6 am which has now been lifted, was revoked from the initial curfew – 6 pm to 6 am on Friday, February 11.
