IN his bid for Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands, the Coalition for National Unity and Transformation (CNUT) newly nominated candidate for the position of Prime Minister, MP Jeremiah Manele is emphasizing the importance of unity and stability for the country’s transformation.
“Unity and stability are not just abstract consents, but they are the very bedrock upon which nations are build and as unity fosters a sense of belonging, transcending differences and promoting cooperation among diverse communities,” said Manele in yesterday’s held press conference at the Cowboy’s Grill, Pacific Casino. “Stability provides the necessary framework for progress and transformation, attracting investment, fostering innovation, and ensuring peaceful co-existence. Together they form the cornerstone of a prosperous and resilient society where citizen can drive and realise their full potential.”
He said: “As been navigate the complexities of nation building let us never forget the paramount importance of unity and transformation in shaping our collective destiny. From the ashes of division great nations have risen. Their unity forged their fires of adversity and their transformation driven by the winds of change, and from the heights of stability they have reached top and transform their citizens to new heights or prosperity and progress.
“Let us remember that unity and transformation are not mere ideals to aspire to, but essential ingredients for transforming a nation. For only when we stand united and steadfast them well build future worthy of our collective dreams as our ancestors have dream of.”
