THE Miss Pacific Islands Pageant Board has acknowledged and expressed deep regret over the distress caused by recent disputes surrounding the results of Miss Pacific 2025.

According to an official statement from the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant (MPIP) Board, the escalating allegations have led to instances of degrading treatment towards contestants and even threats against certain judges, casting a shadow over the camaraderie and spirit of the pageant.

“Established with the noble objective of uniting young women from across the Pacific region, the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant serves as a platform to promote cultural exchange, foster friendships, and champion a unified voice for positive transformation.

“Despite the challenges faced during this year’s event, the resilience and strength of the contestants have shone through, as they continue to build meaningful connections and embody the core values of the pageant.”

The MPIP Board extends its heartfelt congratulations to Miss Litara Leremia Allan, the newly crowned Miss Pacific 2025. As she embarks on her reign, the Board offers its best wishes for her journey ahead, hoping that she will inspire and uplift others in her role.

Additionally, the Board extends its thoughts and prayers to all individuals affected by the recent events. It places its trust in faith and believes in the transformative power of adversity, seeking healing and positive change for all involved.

The MPIP Board also expresses its profound gratitude to the Government of the Solomon Islands and its citizens for their exceptional hospitality. Their warm welcome to the contestants and their delegations has been invaluable in hosting this year’s pageant, ensuring a memorable and enriching experience for all participants.

“May God’s grace and mercy be upon all those who have been hurt by the recent events. We trust in the Lord to bring about healing and transformation, turning this situation of adversity into an opportunity for the greater good,” the statement said.
