Solomon Islands Parliament Staff Attend Regional Conference in Perth

Two staff members from the National Parliament of the Solomon Islands have represented the country at the 2025 Parliamentary Professional Services Network (PPSN) Conference, held from 23–25 July in Perth, Western Australia.

Under the theme “Your Career, Your Move – Building Capability for Better Parliaments,” the conference brought together parliamentary professionals from across Australia and the Pacific for three days of professional development, collaboration, and shared learning.

Mr. Jason Rimamata and Ms. Angelina Nunumae participated in a series of expert-led workshops and interactive sessions focused on strengthening parliamentary institutions and enhancing staff capabilities.

Key highlights from the conference included:

  • Leadership and Career Development: Sessions focused on building individual and institutional capability through leadership training and strategic career planning.
