The JW Laundramart TA Sparkle Splash team brought smiles and cheer to the Children’s Ward at the National Referral Hospital yesterday during their Pre-Christmas visit.
Owner and manager Jennifer Willie thanked all who supported the event, including Twice is Nice for donating clothes, Reveal Pacific for a $300 cash donation, Happy Isles Tour and Transfer for $100, Nim-La for mixed goods, and the Trial and Error Family for giving both cash and clothing.
Jennifer shared that part of their customers’ support also goes toward helping the children.
“Every $5 of your laundry bill goes towards this donation. Thank you all for your kindness and support,” she said.
She said giving to others, especially sick children, brings joy and meaning to life.
“Giving to sickly children, whether it’s time, gifts or just love, is one of the purest forms of kindness which I believe in,” she said.
Jennifer added that a little act of care can bring light to those going through hard times.
“A simple act of kindness can make a difference to their lives,” she said.
