AT voter registration locations throughout the Solomon Islands’ constituencies, the Provisional Voter List is currently available.

It is advised by the Solomon Islands Electoral Commission that eligible voters confirm their names are on the list provided at voter registration sites across the nation.

“Please check to make sure your name appears on the list.

“If your name does not appear, see the registration officer or assistant registration officer and file a claim of omission when the officers come to your VRCs.

“Your name is correctly spelled; if not, file a claim to make a correction to the error.

“No dead people’s names on the list; if not, file a claim for objection to remove the name from the list.

“No eligible person’s name is on the voter list (name of a person under 17 years of age, name of a cross-bordered person, or name of a non-citizen) on your provisional voter list; if not, file a claim of objection to object to their names,” the Solomon Islands Electoral Commission stated.

The list will be available for viewing from November 6–10, 2023, according to the Electoral Commission, so it is crucial that eligible voters make the effort to check.

“The period for filing Objections and Omission claims begins on November 11th and ends on December 1st, 203.

“Registration Officers and Assistant Registration Officers will be coming around to receive your claims.

“Refer to the movement plan that will also be pinged up at your VRCs to know when the officer will come to your centers.

“The provisional voter list can also be accessed at the Electoral Commission Office in Honiara.

“You can pay for a printed or electronic copy of the provisional voter list at the Ministry of Finance and Treasury and bring your receipt of payment to the Commission Office to get a copy of the list.

“The list will only be accessible from November 10–30, 2023, at the Solomon Islands Electoral Commission office,” it stated.
