The Water Tank Project, launched in 2023 through a collaborative partnership between the West Kwaio Constituency Office and AusAid, is progressing steadily toward full completion.

This initiative, which aims to improve access to clean and reliable water across local communities, has already seen the successful distribution of water tanks to numerous villages within the constituency. In recent months, most recipients have also received the remaining materials needed to complete installation.

The Constituency Office is now encouraging all participating communities to finalize the setup of their tanks. Once operational, these water tanks will serve as critical alternative water sources, particularly valuable during periods of drought or water shortages.

The project is scheduled for full completion by the end of 2025.

The West Kwaio Constituency Office extends its gratitude to residents for their continued patience and cooperation during the administrative and logistical phases of the project. Community collaboration with the Constituency Development Committee (CDC) and field officers remains essential to ensuring the timely and effective delivery of services.

Meanwhile, constituents with further questions or in need of assistance are encouraged to visit the Constituency Office.
