SET to be the first of its kind and largest City Mall in Honiara, AJ CITY MALL is set for its opening on Monday 18 October.
Chief Executive Officer of AJ Enterprise Limited, Mrs. Ellen Inahia Maruarofa said “AJ CITY MALL is a dream come true for the owner Aron Dawen Zheng and is poised to become the brand that every Solomon Islander can be proud of. The building is envisioned to become the modern and classic architecture that offers prime spaces and premium services all under one roof.
There will be offices, gyms, food courts, pubs, cinema, clinics and many other more.
Our ambition is to offer a compelling and different experience for the residents and visitors to the Honiara City. The building has an elevator and an escalator with more than fifty rooms on its five levels and we are offering a 30 percent discount rates for new tenants.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the construction progress has been slow. But in line with our delivery commitments, we are still on schedule to open the much-anticipated Mall”.
Valued at more than SBD 200 million, the building was designed by a local architect, Late Mathew Mamaiasi and constructed by Zheng’s father with the support of a few specialized Asians in building and construction with local Solomon Islanders.
