SCHOOL Leaders throughout the country please take note that the Calendar for School Terms and Holidays for 2022 Academic Year (inclusive of 2022 Public Holidays) has been sent to your respective Education Authority Offices today 11th May 2022.
Note. Respective Education Authorities are requested to distribute copies of the 2022 School Calendar to your respective Schools prior to the commencement of the academic school year.
Note. Registration Week begins on the following dates:
- Secondary Schools & RTCs – Monday 23rd May to 27th May 2. Primary Preparation Year (PPY) & Primary School – Monday 7th June to Friday 10th June 3. Early Childhood Education (ECE) – Monday 27th June to 1st July
School Principals, Head Teachers, Teachers and ECE Supervisors be reminded to be at your respective schools and centres to administer registration of students.
Classes to begin on the following dates:
- Monday 30th May 2022 – Secondary School & RTCs
- Monday 13th June 2022 – Primary Preparation Year & Primary School
- Monday 4th July 2022 – Early Childhood Education Centres
Important note. 2022 National Examination Schedules will be shared to you all in due course. MEHRD will provide guides to schools and teachers on curriculum coverage for examination classes.
School Leaders please guide your teachers to plan and implement school programs accordingly in terms of Curriculum coverage, School Administration, Assessment & Instructional Designs for each term.
