The Government has noted a recent video posted on Facebook by Moffat Konofilia containing allegations against the Honourable Prime Minister and the Special Secretary to the Prime Minister (SSPM).
The Government takes these allegations seriously.
A case has already been reported to the police concerning the conduct of Mr Konofilia and the allegations he has made against the Prime Minister and the Special Secretary to the Prime Minister.

Since the matter is now the subject of a police process, it would be inappropriate to comment further, so as not to prejudice that process while it is ongoing.
The Government emphasises that there are established legal procedures and competent authorities available to any person who wishes to raise a complaint or pursue allegations of wrongdoing.
Such matters should be addressed through the appropriate channels rather than through public accusations on social media for reasons that remain unclear.
The Government also reserves all its rights, including the right to pursue legal action for defamation where warranted.
The Government will allow the appropriate authorities to deal with the matters in accordance with the law and will not be drawn into further public commentary while the process is ongoing.
