APPLICATIONS for Manaaki New Zealand Short Term Training Scholarships for Public Sector Leadership and Public Health Management are open now for interested individuals in the Solomon Islands.

Individuals must be a professional with a 5 years’ job experience in the country’s public sector, or in public health, according to the press statement from the New Zealand High Commission in Honiara.

The Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships Programme offers the opportunity to Solomon Islanders who wishes to apply and attend two short courses delivered by the University of Auckland’s Public Policy Institute.

“Both courses will be held in Auckland, New Zealand, and will run over a two-week period. Public Sector Leadership will be held from 12th February to 23rd February 2024, and Public Health Management from 26th February to March 8th 2024.

“Applicants must apply through the application portal accessible via the Skills Consulting Group website:  Manaaki New Zealand Short Term Training Scholarships – Skills Consulting Group.

“The application portal will close at 3pm on 27th Friday October 2023, so all applications must be submitted before then. For further enquiries, please contact Skills Consulting Group:  awardee@scgnz.org”.

“Individuals can find and review further information on the Public Sector Leadership and Public Health Management on brochures available on Programme Overview – Public Health Management Pacific 2024 and Programme Overview – Public Sector Leadership Pacific 2024,” it stated.
