Body of a male person have been found dead at Henderson area this morning.
The body was discovered lying in a pool of blood beside the road.
Sunday Isles was at the scene at the time the body was found and was able to speak with some residents who came out to identify the body.
According to Pr. Paul Kairamo, this is a first of its kind incident to have happen in their area.
“This was the first time such incident happen in this area and we hope the police will play their part to identifying the cause of the death and the identity of the deceased” Paul said.
According to a police statement release today, relatives have identified the deceased and he is from Vura Vura village in South Guadalcanal who reside at Alligator Creek.
Speaking to Sunday Isles, Officer Mark Talo from Henderson police station said that the forensic Department of the RSIPF will conduct necessary investigations before referring the body to the National Referral Hospital later today.
The police statement today said investigation into the suspicious death incident is continuing and called on anyone around who may have information to come forward and assist police.
