A massive crowd gathered in joyful expectation as world-renowned Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills and his campaign team arrived at the Honiara International Airport on Monday this week.

The atmosphere at the arrival area was electrifying, as enthusiastic locals filled the space with heartfelt worship, energetic dance, and meaningful gifts, celebrating his arrival with great fervor.

The overwhelming reception demonstrated the deep hunger for the Word of God among the people of the Solomon Islands.

The highly anticipated event will take place at Lawson Tama Stadium in Honiara from February 26 to March 2, 2025. For the first time ever, Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills is bringing the Healing Jesus Campaign to the Solomon Islands.

In an interview upon his arrival, Evangelist Heward-Mills expressed his gratitude and excitement.

“I am very happy to be here in the Solomon Islands, and I am filled with praise for the wonderful welcome I have received from the people,” he said in an exclusive with Sunday Isles yesterday, he shared a powerful message, proclaiming that “Jesus Christ is the same today and forever. Jesus Christ is a healer.” His words resonated with many, setting the stage for what promises to be a life-transforming experience in the nation.

Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills is a Ghanaian Minister based in Accra, Ghana. He is the founder and Presiding Bishop of the Lighthouse Chapel International. He is also a prolific author, conference speaker, evangelist, apostle and theologian.

His ministry began humbly in 1985 as a small fellowship of five people in a canteen. In 1988, he founded Lighthouse Chapel International, and by 1991, the church had acquired a local theater in Korle-Gonno.

His firm passion for evangelism led him to establish the HEALING JESUS Campaign, an initiative aimed at reaching 100 million souls for Christ. Whilst his crusades have drawn comparisons to those of Reinhard Bonnke, with hundreds of thousands of lives being transformed through his ministry.
