Australia Awards Scholarships for Solomon Islands are offered for undergraduate level (bachelor) and postgraduate level (masters, research degrees). Priority areas of study for Solomon Islands for 2023 are: community and social development, economic growth, education, environment, governance, health, infrastructure, and natural resource management. Focusing on these priority areas aims to enhance Solomon Islands health security, stability, and economic recovery by strengthening government systems, enhancing policymaking in priority sectors, improving economic governance, and building trade and business capabilities.
Selection for an Australia Awards Scholarship is based on merit. Applications are strongly encouraged from women, people with disabilities, and other marginalised groups.
