

The Solomon Islands Electoral Office has confirmed the five Candidates who will contest the Paripao Ward Provincial Assembly by-elections in June.
Returning Officer for Paripao Ward, Albert Moli confirmed the order of candidates following the Ballot Paper draw held this week (28 April, 2025).
Mr Moli confirmed that all five will contest as independent candidates. They include; Ray Robert, Raymond Rayboy, Samson Marcus, Ishmael Kukiti and Raymond Deona Samson.
He added that a total of seven Polling Stations has been confirmed for use in the coming by-elections.
“Following assessments conducted, I can confirm the following Polling Stations that will be used at the coming by-election for Paripao Ward in Northeast Guadalcanal. The include; Papae, Kolosulu, Tenakoga, Numbu, Magia, Luluga and Geza”.


Election Manager, Mr. Joseph Sua meanwhile called on all ward candidates and voters to observe all election rules in the leadup to the June 4 by-elections
