CHAIRMAN of the South San Jorge Landowner Trustees John Rawcliff Kabu has condemned the fraudulent inclusion of his name in a letter purported to have been written to the Isabel Provincial Premier by a ‘South San Jorge Land Trustees.’

The letter which was also published in today’s issue of the Solomon Star and Island Sun newspapers was intended at influencing the Premier not to approve Axiom Mining Limited’s Business License Application to the Isabel Provincial Government.

Mr Kabu said he was shocked to see his name appear in the Solomon Star today as one of the land trustees of South San Jorge who is objected to granting of a Business License to the Australian mining company.

He said upon seeing his name in the two dailies, he rang up Mr Nicholas Kuli whom he understood to have master-minded the Objection Letter and Bintan Mining Company whom Mr Kuli is associated with to tell them off about their fraudulent inclusion of his name in the letter.

Mr Kabu said their inclusion of his name without his approval is a criminal act and Mr Kuli and Bintan should retract the Objection Letter else they will be reported to relevant authorities to be dealt with accordingly.

He said it is pathetic that Mr Kuli and Bintan had resorted to fraudulent means to advance their agendas.

Mr Kabu said it is no use going to the media on issues that can be amicably resolved at the landowner trustee level.
