MEMBER of Provincial Assembly (MPA) for Tepazaka Ward 6, North-west Choiseul and Minister for Agriculture livestock, Lands, Housing and Fisheries Hon. Ralphbell Vina Seko officially hands over a new concrete footbridge for Ngarione community in North-West Choiseul yesterday.

During the handing over ceremony, Hon Vina says in his official address that the footbridge is officially handed over to Ngarione community and open for the public to use.

“The footbridge will allow residents of Ngarione community and the public to use cross the stream,” He said.

 According to Hon Vina the footbridge was constructed under his Ward development plan for the people of Ngarione community.

He clarifies that the footbridge was funded by himself and support from his colleagues, not Ward Grant.

Vina also thank the People of Ngarione community for their generosity and support in the construction of the new footbridge.

He added despite the hit of COVID-19 his team managed to accomplish a few projects in Tepazaka Ward 6.

However, Vina successfully completed three footbridges last year.

“Last year our team managed to complete three footbridges. Two for Voza Community and one for Salakana Community,” He said.

Meanwhile, Ngarione community Chief Mr Joseph Valukana thank Hon Vina for successfully accomplishing his plans for constructing the footbridge for their community.

Vina came into power as MPA for Tepazaka Ward 6 in 2018.

“Helping people is my priority because they choose me to be their representative in the Provincial Government,” He said.

“Choiseul Provincial Government will dissolve on 14 June 2022.”
