“I am so happy to see the equipments upon arrival as for the past weeks we have no Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for us to use when working but now, we have enough PPE’s in stock as well as all necessary medical drugs that we have run out for sometimes now”, Mrs Alahanimae said with a smile.
Pieces of equipment that have arrived include RAT test kits, Personal Protective Equipments medicines and other accessories which will be shared amongst the two clinics out of the four clinics on Ulawa that are providing services for the people of Ulawa at this time.
She said that the equipment and drugs sent were from the National Medical supplies store in Honiara which she says will help her and her colleagues to carry out their jobs efficiently during the Covid19 pandemic.
“Now that we have all PPE’s in stock it is now safer for us nurses to carry out our jobs without worry cos we have these pieces of equipment and accessories”, she added.
