West Kwaio Constituency has set up a new office in Honiara with new office bearers for the remainder of the one-and-a-half-year term left in Parliament.
The establishment of a new office and office bearers comes about after the selection and appointment were done by constituents in West Kwaio.
They are; Constituency Development Officer (CDO) Bobby Siarani of Bina Hill in ward 28, the Constituency Project Officer (CPO) David Nguiburi of Kwa’a in ward 27, and the Constituency Accountant Officer (CAO) Martin Telelou of Igwa village in ward 26.
According to West Kwaio MP advisor, Walter Maesugea, those office bearers were selected and agreed upon by ward representatives in the constituency and endorsed by their MP.
Maesugea added that the selection of the Constituency Project Officer and Constituency Accountant Officer was agreed upon and made by the constituency executive group back at the constituency.
He said the executive is consist of representatives from all three wards in the constituency.
The West Kwaio MP Advisor also mention that the Constituency Development Officer, Mr Bobby Siarani was called upon by MP Teifi himself to be West Kwaio CDO. MP Teifi advised Mr Siarani to resign from his current lucrative job and to take up the CDO post because of his vast experience in youth and community service.
The Constituency Office was located in China Town, Number Three (3) area in Honiara.
