MAJORITY of the world population consists mainly of youths.
Augustine Kobe, speaking on behalf of youths in the west Kwaio region in Malaita province in a recent project handing over ceremony said they are happy to support the MARA government under the leadership of Daniel Suidani.
Kobe said the youths in west Kwaio trust the MARA government that they will have a way forward despite the challenges faced recently.
“We hope to achieve development in social-economic growth, culture, and economic and spiritual aspects for our life under the MARA government.
“All youths in this ward (28) have already built cooperation with MARA through our representative, Hon. Claudio Teifi since 2019 when the provincial government was established,” Kobe said.
He urged the premier, Daniel Suidani to continue to recognize youths of Malaita Province, “They are the future, and can play a big part of any development in the province.”
He said through Suidani’s leadership, they have seen developments happening in the rural communities.
“Today we continue to witness the handing over of some small projects facilitated through MARA under the leadership of Suidani,” Kobe pointed out.
He in the meantime added that under the current provincial government, they have seen an increase in incentives for Forestry rehabilitation, coconut rehabilitation, and Kava as well.
