PETER Kennedy Bubulu, the losing candidate for East Honiara constituency, expressed gratitude to his supporters for their unwavering support during the 2024 national general election.

In an interview with SUNDAY ISLES, Bubulu expressed his gratitude to all those who stood by his side during the election process. He acknowledged the hard work and dedication of his team, as well as the countless supporters who helped spread his message throughout the community.

Although the outcome was not what Bubulu and his supporters had hoped for, he remained positive and optimistic about the future. He emphasized the importance of unity and coming together as a community to work towards common goals, regardless of differing political views.

“Today, as we reflect on the outcome of the election, I am overwhelmed with a profound sense of gratitude for every one of you who stood by our side throughout this journey.

“While the result may not have been what we had hoped for, your unwavering support and dedication have been nothing short of extraordinary. In the face of adversity, you remained steadfast in your belief in our vision of community first. Your tireless efforts, whether through volunteering, spreading our message, or simply offering words of encouragement, have been the driving force behind our campaign.

“Your passion and commitment have touched the hearts of countless individuals and inspired hope in communities across our nation,’’ he said.

Bubulu expressed pride in the accomplishments of his team, supporters, families, and relatives during the election period, despite the uncertain future.

“Our campaign was not just about winning an election; it was about standing up for what we believe in and advocating for the values that define us as a society. As we move forward, let us carry with us the lessons learned and the friendships forged during this journey. Let us continue to work tirelessly towards our shared goals, knowing that our efforts have made a difference, no matter the outcome of this election.

“To the dedicated and tireless team and your family, all former camp members and other dedicated members, you’re great; you are all to me. relatives and friends, all other communities, The Burns Creek supporters, my CTK parishioners, the Lau Valley team, the Kobito family team and supporters, Sweet Cherry, Baranaba team, the Abira Jackson Ridge team, the community of G’ Camp, GBR, Mana Kafo team, GG Valley Team, to all silent majority out there whom you are part of my team, you are counted. to Mummy Janet and Team, the Green Valley Team, Other Camps outside of Honiara, my Kwai and Ngongosila, the Olufera of Ataá, the Maravovo Community blood sisters and families, the White River family, Mt.
