Su’ena Community High School on Ugi Island in the Makira/Ulawa province successfully held its 2025 school graduation ceremony last Thursday under the theme “Together We Succeed.”
The event marked an important milestone for the school, with a total of 94 students graduating — 17 from grade six, 26 from Form 3 and 51 from Form 5. Proud parents, guardians, community leaders, and invited guests gathered to celebrate the students’ achievements and perseverance throughout the academic year.

The ceremony was graced by the Guest of Honour, Honourable Stanley Mamanu, and Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) for Ward Four, Ugi Island, who commended the school for its efforts in promoting education in the community.
In his keynote address, Hon. Mamanu congratulated the graduating students and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence. He reminded the students that education remains a powerful tool for success and development, not only for individuals but also for the entire community.
The event featured speeches, student presentations, and feasting, adding colour and excitement to the day’s program. School officials expressed appreciation to parents and community members for their continued support towards the school’s development.

Principal and staff of Su’ena CHS also thanked the graduating students for their commitment and urged them to carry the spirit of the theme — “Together We Succeed” — into their next stages of education and life.
The successful staging of this year’s graduation reflects Su’ena CHS’s ongoing commitment to nurturing young minds and building a stronger, educated community in the Makira Ulawa province.
